This city apartment is located at one of the most well-known spots in Rotterdam “De Martkhal”. Though the Markthal is well-known the area is tranquil suitable for city living. The apartment is located in the Blaak district, this area has both new and old features which makes it such a unique area.
Food and drinks located as close as you can imagine as well as multiple supermarkets nearby, on the Binnenrotte there is also an outdoor market held on Tuesdays and Saturdays for cheaper and fresh produce. Next to Hoogstraat, known for local cafes and restaurants, as well as shops nearby. Near the Oude Haven (Old Port) which is part of the history of Rotterdam, now has lots of cafés and restaurants to enjoy the port. The city centre shopping is only a few minutes away.
The second largest train station in Rotterdam; Blaak Station is located in front of the apartment building, here you can take the train, metro, tram and bus. Within the Markthal there is a parking garage.
The spacious apartment is located on the 8th floor within the Markthal and has a great skyline view. Considered quite a new building, since 2014, this apartment is built with modern amenities. This includes a fully equipped kitchen with kitchen island and a fully tilled bathroom. The bright apartment comes to you fully furnished in a quaint interior suitable for 2 singles or one couple. It comes with 2 loft-style bedrooms, meaning no closed off door, on each side of the apartment. The apartment has lots of storage space and has secured entrance as well as elevators to access the apartment.
The entrance to the apartment is located on the side of the building. this is secured. From the shared communal hall you can take one of the two elevators to the 8th floor.
From the elevator walk towards apartment. Once you entered you wil have the entryway connected to the hallway. The first door on the right is the separate toilet. Next to it are two storages, one of which is a laundry closet with the washing machine and dryer.
At the end of the hall is where the dining area with open entertainment kitchen is located with built-in fridge, freezer, induction stove, dishwasher and oven. It comes to you fully renovated with a kitchen island. Past the kitchen is where the living area is. A bright living space with large windows and a quaint interior. It has two large sofas and rustic wooden cabinets.
From the living area you have access to the large balcony with a great view of the city. Passed the living room is where the first bedroom is located, this is an open space that is not closed off due to the light coming in through the windows. This bedroom has a large double bed and a desk. From the bedroom, you enter the jack and jill bathroom located between the two bedrooms. The second bedroom is on the other side and has single bed.
